Just as the move from Web 1.0 to Web 2.0 offered myriad opportunities for entrepreneurs, the current shift to Web 3.0 has even greater potential. While some large corporations are already actively moving into Web 3.0, most are going to need partners to help them model out Web 3.0 systems and the even larger challenge of integrating into existing systems and business models. Lo scenario tecnologico che media una parte significativa del nostro lavoro, educazione, relazioni e tempo libero è dominato dalla progressiva convergenza di multiple tecnologie quali realtà virtuale e intelligenza artificiale. Cosa significa operare in un mondo in cui è possibile modificare digitalmente la percezione del proprio corpo e degli spazi circostanti? Quali sono le applicazioni concrete e quali i rischi dei mondi virtuali e del futuro metaverso?

This talk is about the challenges and opportunities in building the Metaverse. Since its inception, the Metaverse brought two discourses: one is about the possibility of building a dystopia with the predominance of corporate interests; and, the other one is about building a collaborative space that links the virtual with the physical world.  The metaverse will be shaped by our knowledge society which is heavily based on communities. Hence, it will be very difficult to structure a dystopian physical or virtual world of any kind. Decentralization brought by Web3 and community building will play a key role in the next decades empowering creators and bringing exciting business opportunities.

In this panel I will discuss why gaming and metaverse will be the next biggest trend on blockchain and help the crypto industry to go mainstream and onboard 1 BLN users on the market.

Sul metaverso possiamo vendere o regalare Non Fungible Token collegati al prodotto, organizzare eventi a premi, scambiare merci e servizi contro pagamenti. Ma quali sono i limiti legali di queste attività? Posso vendere NFT a terzi? Quali sono le regole sulla proprietà intellettuale?
