Big Data from Space: Technology Development @ ESA

Big Data from Space refers to Earth and Space observations. As a generic characterization, they are qualified being Big Data given not only their sheer volume, but also their high velocity and their variety. Furthermore, their veracity shall be carefully assessed, permitting to extract their ultimate value (the Five-V paradigm). The presentation will give an overview on technology development activities performed at ESA related to Big Data from Space.
