For a fair AI for everyone: overcoming bias and discriminations through data feminism

Data and AI have now become an integral part of our daily lives, from health to our career paths. However, with the massive use of these models there is a high risk of amplifying prejudices and discriminations. That is why an urgent and necessary intersectional feminist approach is needed to promote social justice. The experience of Period Think tank in promoting data feminism will be shared, both for public policies and for identifying and resolving biases in AI algorithms within the Aequitas project.
