Intelligent Biodiversity Monitoring with Citcom.AI // Validating AI and Robotics solutions in agricultural sector with AgrifoodTEF

First talk: The Citcom.AI TEF facilitates testing AI before it gets into places where humans live and move around. Politecnico di Milano leads the Italian partnership in Citcom.AI. Current activities center on the UpTown area north of Milano as the physical playground where testing and experimentation unfold. This talk will report on the development and deployment of an intelligent biodiversity monitoring system at UpTown, and how Citcom.AI proved to be a formidable instrument to bridge the gap between research and practice.

Second talk: AgrifoodTEF project empowers innovators in the agrifood sector with customised tools for the validation of their AI and robotics solutions in real-life conditions. Coordinated at European level by Fondazione Bruno Kessler, this initiative brings together competences in the AI and Agronomic Science sectors to extend the assets which European companies, SMEs and startups in particular, can use to test and validate their innovative products before going to market. The presentation will also cover some use-cases and success stories that show how the AgrifoodTEF services have been used in practice until now.
