Alessia Gloder

Alessia is CEO of Astradyne, an Apulian startup focused on deployable structures for the aerospace sector, winner of the Primo Round award as Italian startup of the year in late 2023. The core technology of the company, FRET (Flexible Reinforced Electronics with Textile), enables structures that are lighter, more compact and more reliable than comparable products in the market. The startup's first product, a deployable textile-based solar panel for satellites, will be demonstrated in orbit in autumn 2025

Alessia holds dual master's degrees in aerospace engineering and in aeronautical propulsion, and she is currently attending an executive MBA in Business Innovation at the MIB Trieste School of Management. Her previous experience includes roles in business development and sales, project management, and business and strategic consulting. Active in several aerospace associations, Alessia serves as the Italian point of contact for the Space Generation Advisory Council (SGAC) and is a member of the Rome local group of Women in Aerospace - Europe. She is also a musician and a two-time TEDx speaker.
